An example of where the making of new work and the restoration of old complement one another. Of the four seasons represented by a set of Coade terms, only Winter and Autumn remained. We were commissioned to restore these, and to design and produce Spring and Summer anew, with only the style of the surviving originals as a reference. Using our own specially formulated clay body and modelling skills, we were able to achieve a very close match.
